The Civil Engineering Specialty builds on the applied mechanics principles of the core curriculum to focus in geotechnics and structures. Students are required to take courses in: Soil mechanics Fluid mechanics Structural Theory Foundation Engineering Design with Steel and Concrete
Students also take courses in Engineering Economics and Construction Site Management. In addition, students must choose two electives from a list of civil oriented courses which includes opportunities for individual study projects.
