Research
Interest:
Prof. Kee’s research concentrates on the modeling and
computational simulation of chemically reacting flow.
Principal applications of his research are in combustion and
advanced materials processing. His combustion interests focus
on fundamental chemical and fluid-mechanical structure of
flames, including extinction phenomena and pollutant
formation. Materials-processing, research concentrates on
synthesis of electronic thin-films, such as those used in
silicon-based semiconductors and new photovoltaic devices.
